If you owned the ER Mobile Home, you’d be home by now.
I’ve always wanted to have a nice house in Second Life. A simple little place to get away from the hustle and bustle, a refuge, and a place to call my own. But my personal land was only a small 512m parcel. As anyone who has ever owned a 512 knows.. finding a nice house that will fit on that parcel, and still leave enough prims free for furniture, can be a very difficult task indeed. I searched and searched, and finally decided I should make my own. But with that limited space, I knew it would have to be a small house. That’s when I got the idea to build a modern, trailer park style, mobile home.
The ER Mobile Home is a small but stylish prefab home, designed to be as liveable as can be, while using as few prims as possible. The result is a 67 prim building with an overall footprint of just 11.5m x 25.5m, and a base footprint of 8m x 24m. Featuring a spacious livingroom , bedroom, and porch… and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, complete with a working refrigerator (with food), a working toilet, sinks, and a bathtub with filling water and a bathing animation. All packed in a simple to use “EasyRez” unpacking crate, the ER Mobile Home is surprisingly roomy with hardwood floors and crisp wall textures, plus privacy windows and smart doors, as well as an access control system. The ER Mobile Home makes the perfect home for “First Land” sized parcels, as well as making an excellent rental home.
Come on down and check it out!
