You can’t please everyone. That’s a lesson that grandfathers through the ages have tried to impart to their grandchildren. There’s just no way to make everyone happy.. and never has that been more true than with what I’ve been working on.

I can’t tell you what it is, or else I’ll go mad from all the people asking if it’s done yet, or wanting to “talk about it”. Some of you will love it, some of you will hate how I’m going to release it.. and some of you won’t care at all. But I’ve never had so much angst about finishing and releasing an ER product, as with this one. It will be controversial, and it will be wonderful when it’s done.

I’ve been banging away at this project, on and off, for months.. and I wish people could see the script that makes it work, because it’s an absolute work of art. But it’s proprietary, so I can’t show it off. The last week or so, spent working on this single script, has resulted in a product that many people are absolutely going to HAVE  to have. The hardest part, is trying to find a way to break the news to the people it’s going to upset. Sometime next week, I’ll probably be spending a couple of days composing a letter to hand out to people when they ask the questions I know they’ll ask.

My goal is to release this project sometime around May 30th.. a Saturday release would be ideal. Keeping it under wraps is the hard part.. and I know there have been leaks. It’s obvious that people know that something big is coming.. and each of them seems to be IMing me every few days. (sigh).

If you’re on the ER mailing list, you’ll get a notice as soon as the product is released, and I’ll probably post vendor art on one of these pages as well.
